Our factory, Modern Recycling factory (MRF), was founded in 2012. The name of the factory reflects our strong desire and commitment to become a leading supplier of recycled tire products and rubber production in Qatar, GCC, and the whole world.

MRF will make the most efficient use of research and technology development qualities, wider and wholesome clientele, and enhanced large-scale facilities. All acquired and strengthened as a result of the management integration, enabling us to proceed in improving and developing our products with high-quality International(ISO), American(ASTM), and European’s (EN) standards in various fields and several applications that will be a replacement for resources such as concrete and asphalt. As well as participating in implementing and helping to achieve the national vision of Qatar 2030.

The ambassador of France in Qatar HE Eric Chevallier has vistsed MRF responding to our invitation to observe the recycling efforts in qatar that MRF provide & he was taken on a tour by the CEO Mr. Akram Ibrahim. Qatar T.V & Qatar Tribune Newspaper have attended the visit & interviewed Mr. Chevallier asking him what he thinks of the recycling industry in Qatar, "What is commendable to see here is the transformation of waste into high quality products and it is all done here in Qatar and by a Qatari company" Chevallier said. Mr. Chevallier was shown our products & the laboratories tests that the products have undergone. As well as their application & characteristics. Chevallier said, “This integrated recycling plant clearly demonstrates the capacity of Qatar to develop its self-sustained industry as well as its potential in terms of its economic diversification leading to what can be seen here in the form of its high-quality production."

Below is a description of each of the undertaken tests of ISO.ISO 9001:2015 The quality input comprises of standard requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and covers the functions performed by the organization to achieve product and service realization through process control. ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). It is used to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. It is the most popular standard in the ISO 9000 series and the only standard in the series to which organizations can certify.Mr. Chevallier was shown our products & the laboratories tests that the products have undergone. At 20,000m2, MRF is one of the largest Greenfield recycling projects in the country. The plant will be used to recycle used tyres and rubber materials to make new products.
Akram Ibrahim, chief executive officer of MRF, said: “This is a first-of-its-kind project for recycling used tyres, which pose a serious threat to the environment”.
“The project is a unique greenfield facility, which became a reality due to the vision of the promoters in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. MRF is thankful for the continuous support of Al Khaliji Commercial Bank, government authorities, environmental agencies, technology partners, and suppliers.”

The minister conducted a field tour of the various facilities of the plant and was briefed on the work mechanism and recycling stages. He also observed the modern technology deployed in the factory, including the process of receiving old tyres, their classification, cutting, separation and transforming the refuse into rubber materials for various purposes.
He stressed the importance of the work being done at the factory, as it represents the participation of the private sector in the sustainable development process, and noted that recycling old tyres is of great importance. More than 1mn used tyres are collected per year, on an average, from various collecting points in the county, according to a press statement.

MRF played a big role in the exhibition that was held in India, New Delhi, which was the 5th Indian International Sports goods show. MRF showcased its products & showed the relation of the products to the importance of using them in all sports fields in order to ensure quality & safety of players. MRF received numerous inquirers & the audience was influenced by the several usages of the products & how they can improve sports in many ways.

MRF is going to take a part of every exhibition related to the applicable fields of its products this year to show the importance & development that could happen via the rubber flooring products that MRF provides.
